The private sailing tour coordinated from El Mangroove has the advantage of being located just steps away from the beach, making our pick up and drop offs more convenient for our guests.

From the Resort, we will sail into the Gulf of Papagayo and its spectacular lush forests, wildlife, and the warm waters of the Pacific coast.

Our sailing excursions are designed to showcase the natural beauty and biodiversity of the area, and are led by experienced guides who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of the region with guests.

Sailboat excursions typically last 4 hours when a half-day excursion is booked or 8 hours if the full-day excursion is desired and take guests on a journey where they can observe a variety of wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas and a wide range of bird species.

Guests can also snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf and observe the vibrant marine life that inhabits the area.
